Admission Rules & Procedure

1. The candidate seeking admission should apply in the prescribed application form. The prospectus along with the prescribed application form can be had from the school office on payment of the stipulated amount.
2. The filled – in application form should be submitted along with a copy of the previous mark sheet, transfer certificate(T.C.), and Character certificate from the previous school of study. Original certificates must be produced at the time of admission.
3. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected without notice.
4. The candidate should have fulfilled the age limit criteria as per the stipulated rules. The candidate must sit for a personal interview and admission test.
5. The parents/guardians should accompany their wards at the time of interview and admission test. The selection for test is merit – based.
6. The selected candidates in general will be admitted on remittance of the fees on time. The fee details are available at the school office. The fees once remitted will not be refunded on any account.
7. If an admitted student intends to leave the school after the commencement of the academic session, he/she will be permitted to do so only on payment of the fees for the remaining part of the academic year
8. The Principal reserves the right to admission. The decision of the Principal is final and binding.

Pre-primary - LKG & UKG

For admission in LKG (Lower Kinder Garten), the child should have completed a minimum of 3 ½ years and a maximum of 4 years. Birth certificate from the concerned authority must be produced at the time of admission.

For admission in UKG (Upper Kinder Garten), the child should have completed a minimum of 4 ½ years and a maximum of 5 years. Pass certificate of LKG and Birth certificate from the concerned authority must be produced at the time of admission.

Primary - I, II, III, IV & V

For Admission in these classes, a pass certificate of previous class with transfer certificate and character certificate must be produced at the time of Admission. The following age criteria will be adhered to. The student must sit for a personal interview and an admission test.

Middle School - VI, VII & VIII

For admission in these classes, a pass certificate of previous class in English medium from an equivalent board with transfer certificate and character certificate must be produced at the time of Admission. Subsequent age limits will be followed and the student must sit for a personal interview and admission test.

Secondary - IX & X

For Admission in class – IX, a pass certificate of class – VIII in English medium from an equivalent board with transfer certificate and character certificate must be produced at the time of Admission. Age criteria will be strictly adhered to and the student must sit for a personal interview and an admission test.

Normally direct admission in Class – X is not done. Students who passed class – IX from other boards will not be admitted in class – X. However, Admission on transfer for a student who passed class – IX from the ICSE may be possible, subject to the approval of the council.

Senior Secondary XI & XII

For admission in class – XI, a pass certificate of class – X in English medium from an equivalent board with transfer certificate and character certificate must be produced at the time of admission. Age criteria will be strictly adhered to and the student must sit for a personal interview and an admission test.

Normally direct admission in class – XII is not done. Students who passed class – XI from other boards will not be admitted in Class – XII. However, Admission on transfer for a student who passed class – XI from the ISC may be possible subject to the approval of the council.

At the time of admission the following documents must be submitted along with the duly filled in application form.

Attested copy of X – examination mark sheet, Character certificate, Transfer Certificate, a recent passport size photograph, Migration Certificate.
